Dubbed the world’s Most Travelled Artist, Tiësto will return to his adopted home of New York City to play a special, one-off show to celebrate Independence Day. Fans will have the opportunity to see the dance music legend perform on the hallowed grounds of Governors Island, where the backdrop of the city’s skyline and explosive energy of his extensive musical catalog will magnify the revelry of the holiday, affording concertgoers an unparalleled Fourth of July experience.

Capitalizing on the momentum of his sold-out Brooklyn Hangar shows earlier this year, the famed DJ has curated a lineup that features collaborators and friends, including KSHMR, Cheat Codes and Aazar, for his triumphant return to New York.

To date, 2017 has already proven to be a hallmark year for Tiësto. The internationally-renowned DJ recently released “BOOM,” his collaboration with US-based artist/producer duo Sevenn, through his Musical Freedom label. In March, Tiësto kicked off his series of pop-up shops with Tiësto Miami and unveiled the first of many exciting brand collaborations in development. With plans to expand his pop-up installations worldwide and tons of exciting music in the works, the icon has plenty of surprises in store for the rest of the year and beyond.

About Tiësto:
With a remarkable career spanning over 20 years, Tiësto remains one of the top dance music acts in the world. Revered for his live shows as well as for his production and remix work, Tiësto is a globally celebrated DJ that has been named “The Greatest DJ of All Time” by Mixmag and the #1 DJ by Rolling Stone. Through revolutionary moments such as being the first DJ to open the Olympic Games and headlining festivals like Coachella, Electric Daisy Carnival, Stereosonic, Tomorrowland, Ultra and more, he has helped pave the way for today’s modern music landscape. His 2014 album, A Town Called Paradise, yielded Tiësto his first platinum single in the United States with “Wasted” [featuring Matthew Koma] and his first gold single "Red Lights.” In February 2015, Tiësto was awarded a Grammy® in the Best Remixed Recording, Non Classical category for his remix of John Legend’s “All Of Me.” This was Tiësto’s first Grammy® Award and second Grammy® nomination.
An American born of Kashmiri-Indian descent, KSHMR (as in Kashmir) was raised making periodic family trips to his father’s homeland. Though, it wasn’t until KSHMR began seeking inspiration for his own musical productions that he realized the significance of his upbringing. KSHMR reflects, “As I got older, I started to think about the people and what I saw in India more and more - it's been hugely inspirational to starting KSHMR. Dance music is unique from pop in that it allows you to use stranger melodies and chords. Indian music does the same and it's incredibly exciting to me to find ways to bridge the two.”

KSHMR exploded onto the scene with his first release, “Megalodon." Since then, his Beatport releases “Burn,” “Secrets,” “Karate,” “Memories,” “Heaven,” “Strong” and “Bazaar” have all peaked at #1 overall and quickly garnered him a rapidly growing fan base. In 2016, KSHMR was awarded DJ Mag’s prestigious accolade of Best New Live Act, climbed to number 12 on their Top 100 DJ list and graced the cover of the March issue.

KSHMR has continued his run of success into 2016 with a number of phenomenal singles such as “Touch” and “Wildcard” and massive performances at Coachella and EDC Las Vegas. KSHMR also recently released his long form debut, The Lion Across The Field EP, which served as the musical companion piece to a children’s book by the same name written by KSHMR himself.

2017 will always be a monumental year for KSHMR, he took his incredible live show to the next level at Ultra Miami. Incorporating a mini orchestra, and mesmerizing Bollywood dancers, KSHMR brought to life his original productions and people are still talking about it!

KSHMR will continue to tour the globe this year and is set to release some exciting new music, including collaborations with Tiësto and Hardwell.
